Review: CanMake Cream Cheek

CanMake cream cheek is one of the blusher I am using right now. Personally, I find that it is good to have different shades of blusher. I will recommend at least 2 shades, one in rosy pink and the other in peach colour (It can be either powder/cream).

The colours are really pigmented so you do not want to over apply at one go.
You can use a sponge / a clean finger and dab the colour on the center of the cheek. Make sure it's evenly blended. This will then give your cheek a glow as it have a micro-shimmer on it.

Note: This is more suitable for dry/normal skin types. I have a sensitive type of skin and this works fine for me.

Peach blush is definitely one of the colour to own this season!

Review: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

I was not a real lipstick kind of girl. Lipstick shade is so important that no matter how gorgeous someone can look, if it's the wrong shade..everything will go downhill!!
After reading lots of beauty blogs and watching tons of make up videos, I notice that once a girl put something on their lips, be it a lip balm or a gloss, it could make their whole appearance to another level. They appear to be "brighter" looking.
I have been a fan of the "nude" kinda look , so what is a better way to conquer my fear than starting from a nude shade of lipstick. I got myself Revlon Colourburst Lipstick and I got to say, i totally LOVE them!! Not only are the price much affordable than counter products, the quality of the lipstick are amazing. It's creamy and the colours are absolutely gorgeous.
I definitely recommend this particular shade to those that are just beginning to try out using a lipstick.

I am totally in love with this shade right now and will definitely try to venture on other shades of colour going forward!!

How To : Tie a Tie

This post is specially dedicated to my dearest friend, Merlyn that is getting married this Sunday.
I hope the step by step guide will be of some help on the big day!!

The lines on the tie is a good indicator to know where to place
the tie. It should rest nicely between your neck and chest bone

1. The shorter / thinner side of the tie
2. The longer / thicker side of the tie

Pull 1 and 3 at the same time to tighten the tie

Bring down the collar, adjust accordingly and
voila, you are done.

There is a normally a hole at the back of the tie

Remember to place the thinner side of the tie inside it, so it wont be flapping out

This is one of the easiest and fastest way to tie a tie, hope this helps!!

Review : Kate reflect mirror eyes

For those of you who likes the 'light' make up look, this is something you might want to try.
The colours are more shimmery than pigmented. It gives you the glittery look with a hinch of goldish-brown tone which I really like.

KATE - reflect mirror eyes BR-1

I generally like this eyeshadow, but you cant really use it by itself for an everyday use as it is very very shimmery. With that being said, if u were to use a matt eyeshadow and dap a little of these colours on top of it, it will give you the right amount of pop you need for your eyes to sparkle.
