Urban decay 24/7 eyeliner

My first 24/7 experience was when i got hold of naked palette from urban decay, it came with 2 colours (black and brown). Since then, this has been one of my fav eyeliner as its so easy to glide on and its waterproof!

So i went back Sephora to get more of their eyeliners.
My fav colour other than basic black and brown is mainline, it have this royal blue tone that gives you the right pop when you are using a simple eyeshadow colour

Definately recommend this eyeliner - fav!

I first heard of Bellabox when I was flipping Cleo Magazine a while back. I thought it was kind of an interesting website as the Bellabox team actually handpicks the 5 latest beauty products and mail them to your door every month. I was surfing the web and I saw they were selling SATC eyelashes by Eylure, i remember reading a review on it and decided to give it a try. As you can guess, it comes in 4 different styles (Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte). I got myself a Charlotte pair of lashie as she is always so elegant looking!

Review: I dont think i particularly suits well on this lashie, it doesnt look as natural as i hope it will be. Its way  too long and sparse, probably better for girls with bigger eyes.

But Bellabox is definately worth a try for those beauty junkies that want to get the most updated beauty products every month to your door step. 

Prewedding photoshoot with AXIOO

The pre wedding shoot session with AXIOO is one of my 'most looking forward' moment during this whole process. I have been counting down to this moment for the longest time everrr

Timetable:

8am : went to AXIOO studio for make up

8.30am : on our way to our first location - Sinou Cafe 

9am - 12pm : Shoot at Sinou Cafe + Lunch

12.30pm - 3.30pm : went back to AXIOO studio for studio shots

4pm - 7pm : outdoor shot at PIK area

We have a total of 6 looks (2 on each location). I did not have time to get some photos of the pre wed sessions we had, but did manage to capture some looks here and there.

I got to say this is definitely one fun process and I enjoy every moment of it. My fiancé and I was having fun the entire time and definitely a big thanks to AXIOO and team that makes us feel so comfortable instantly when we met them! Cant wait for the photos to be ready ^ ^

Wedding preparation #4 - Good Skin

Clarisonic is a facial cleanser that have patented sonic technology to remove impurities from pores  - cleansing 6x better than hands 

I have been using Clarisonic for about 3 weeks now and I have to say the result is absolutely remarkable. The instant result truly surprise me, my face is less oily and i really feel the difference.

How to use:

1. Remove make up 

2. Cleanse your face with cleanser/ you can also apply the cleanser directly on the brush head (I will normally go for the first.)

3. Turn on your Clarisonic and gently brush it to your face in small clockwise motion.

4. 20 sec on your T zone / forehead

5. 20sec on your nose and chin area

6. 10sec on each cheek

Note: You will hear a beeping sound on each interval so you know its time to change to another section (20 sec to 1st beep, 20 sec to the 2nd beep, followed by 10 sec each)

This takes less than 1 minute for you to get a clean skin!!

They have interchangeable brush to suit most skin types (normal, sensitive, delicate, deep pore, acne and even body)

I truly recommend this for everyone , be it whether you have good skin or not. Everyone should have a clean skin all the time!

Preparation for good skin to the wedding day - checked!!

Naruko

Seeing how good the results are after the first product I got from Naruko, I went to shop facial wash from them again.

I got 3 different types of facial wash, all according to different needs (everyday, whitening and oil- control)

The Narnicissus Total Defense AA Foaming wash

It is very gentle and contains a non-irritating formula that it really suits to be an everyday facial wash.

Rose & Botanic Aqua Cubic Foaming Wash

This acts more as a whitening facial wash, i normally use it in the morning.

Tea Tree Oil Out Acne Clay Cleanser

This helps to control oily skin, i tend to use this once - twice a week depending on the skin condition

What i like about this is, it have a duo function (1. facial wash 2. to clean out black pores on your nose)

Steps to clean out pores (after normal facial wash)

1. Squeeze out a quarter sized amount (nickel-sized amount for dry skin)

2. Spread it directly to your nose area (make sure nose is dry) - i like to place it on the T-Zone area

3. You will slowly feel the cleanser harden like a clay, laeve it for 3 minutes

4. Rinse it off with lukewarm water and you will feel the difference!



I have to say that I am still a fan of Naruko products, price is so affordable and results are effective.

The blush brush trick

I remembered when I started using make up, I don't have anyone I could ask or get opinion on what or what not to do. The most instant reaction was to apply make up with the sense of what I saw from girly shows / magazines that I happened to flip. 

I hope with the upcoming posts, I could show you the small little tricks here and there I came across these years. It might not be a big impact to most of you, but these have become my habit. 

So the first thing I would like to share is blusher! I remembered when I got my first few blush on, the way i applied it was to dap my brush to the blusher in circular motion for 2 to 3 times before applying them to my cheeks. Then I would go back to do this a couple of times as I find that the colours are not visible enough. 

Not sure whether many will realise this, but I find that doing this is actually taking more time and the blusher is used up faster. The way i like to do it now is to squeeze the brush tips first before dapping it to the blush on, swipe it twice and you get the just about right tone on your cheeks. ^ ^

This way you can get more colour on your brush

How I keep my hairbands, belts and scarfs

I just want to share another How to idea of mine. I love hairbands, headbands, you name it. But it could be quite a headache where to store them sometimes. 

When i saw this lamp in Ikea, i immediately thought this is perfect! It have 2 lamps (1 floor uplighter, and the other is a reading lamp which is bendable). 

What i did was to make use of the space between the bendable reading lamp and the floor uplighter. Now, all my headbands, scarfs, belts are placed nicely and the best part is I could reach out easily and pick out what hairbands, belts and etc to match my outfit of the day in 1 glance.

I've been Jill-ed

I have been wanting to posts the stuff my friend got for me when he is in Japan and it took me 3 months to finally put this up! 

This is the first Coffret D'or and Lavshuca products I got and I am totally in love with it. I am a big shimmer fan and what each of the pallette have are soft glitters that are not overly the top, just the way i like it. ^ ^ 

I hope they bring these to Singapore soon !!
